Sebastián Caldas (classical guitar) meets AntyRam trio (feat. Popo Romano)
After two very enriching experiences in collaborative projects with percussionist´s from the candombe tradition Classical guitarist, Sebastián Caldas Zeballos takes the concept of Moving Horizons to another level.
Now, working with Anty Ram trio from Uruguay, leaded by the legendary Popo Romano at the tiple, And with the two young musicians from Minas, Andrés Montaldo (double bass) and Diego Fernández.
The ensemble wants to take improvisation in to the realm of the classical concert and the classical guitar concerto the the venues were improvised music is norm.
The starting point is original compositions written by the trio, as well as Caldas original compositions for guitar arranged for the ensemble ,traditional candombes and music by other Latinamerican composerts.
The project is supported by the Swedish Arts Grants Comitee.
